The Henderson DMV is one of the 4 full service DMVs in the Las Vegas area. It’s primary route is a combination of main roads plus residential areas. You will find long straight stretches and easy turns. Watch for the school zones and check out our videos to see how to handle the last two turns before getting back into the DMV, they can be a little tricky if you are unfamiliar with the area.
Route #1 Notes:
Monitor for school zone, speed restrictions and pedestrian crossings after you enter 1st subdivision. Become familiar with the traffic signals (left turn lane) on the turn from American Pacific on to Stephanie street when heading back to the DMV. And finally, on the final turn from Stephanie into the DMV – lots of traffic – you may need to wait an extended time before traffic fully clears and you complete your turn.
Route #2 Notes:
See notes for Route #1 – same key alerts apply here. In addition, drivers should become familiar with the traffic circle (round-a-bout) on Mark St. particularly if they have not encountered these before. Straight forward, simply yield to any traffic from left, and watch for pedestrians. THIS COURSE MAY BE RUN IN REVERSE.

Jasmine, a lot of factors go into which DMVs may be easier than others. Examiners may opt to take different routes, and time of day is probably more... Read More important that which DMV. Ideally you should book mid to late morning, after work and school rush hours, and before lunch time traffic. Bottom line you should practice a lot, get acquainted with the area around one DMV, and book at an off peak traffic time. Good luck.

Read More things to remember are 1 make sure you stop behind the line at stops and no rolling stops and 2 always move your head when checking your mirrors so that they know you are paying attention. I haven't taken my test yet but I think I will go to Decatur. Its harder when there are a lot of other cars around.
