Community Guidelines
Welcome to a nation wide community of new teen drivers
Our policies and community guidelines are designed to create a unique space where teens can support, inspire, and empower each other in positive ways.
A few ‘rules of the road’…
- Be respectful.
Even if you disagree with another community member, let’s treat each other like we want to be treated. - Don’t be that person.
Distasteful or inappropriate content, posts, user names, or subject lines will be deleted. If you see comments in our Forums that are inappropriate, please flag and our moderators will review. - Be kind.
We’re all better that way. No bullying, shaming, racist, abusive, hateful, violent, vulgar, or obscene language or behavior. - Lift each other up.
Compliments are always encouraged, even rewarded on our site. You know how it feels to be insulted by other teens your age. Let’s not bring each other down. Help us create a truly positive and uplifting community. - Observe the rules (or else …)
Participation in, encouragement, or suggestion of any illegal behavior is cause for immediate deletion and suspension of posting privileges and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. - Respect the content of others.
No articles, news reports, or other copyrighted material may be posted without the permission of the relevant copyright owners. - Protect your identity.
This is a public discussion forum. Do not post personal or any other identifying information, such as your name, address, telephone number, etc. Also, do not post any personal information about a third party without that person’s explicit consent. No commercial solicitation or advertising will be allowed. - And our lawyer made us add this.
All posted content may be used by Hack the DMV in any and all media, including (but not limited to) websites, web applications, social media platforms, and other print and digital media. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
